Subject: Membership in the Patriot Guard
Dear Leadership,
I received your response to Mr. Don Russ request about
my issue with recieving Statewide Mission annoucements. Apparently is has been
stated that I "removed myself". Since I was registered until three very
different e-mails addresses I find this extremely difficult to believe.
Additionally, I am very computer literate and know how an unsubscribe button
works.
My communciations with Leadership in the past have
been to discuss issues with individuals within the organization that have
treated either myself or others close to me with less than respect.
I would be interested, and an entitled by IRS
regulations, to see the by-laws and constitution. Those documents should contain
your membership requirements and I would be interested to see what I have done
to be denied membership. I have stood on flag lines with the utmost respect for
the deceased, I have refrained from negative talk about individuals I have had
my differences with. I would encourage you to talk to Rob as I believe that I
have been nothing short of professional, kind and coridal with Rob at each and
every event.
I am the very PROUD mom of a Marine - the PROUD aunt
of two SOLIDERS - my nephew and his wife - the PROUD aunt of an Airmen and a
very PROUD wife of a Chief of Police. My family has lived and breathed civil
service. My dad - a retired police officer - My uncle - a deceased police
officer - My uncle - a Chicago Firemen - you get the idea. I started a Support
Group for Families and Supporters of Military Personnel to help families deal
with the pressures of military service.
I get the respect - I get the reverence and I get what
is appropriate and what is not. The discussions we have had have all occurred
via telephone and as adults. I have not engaged in Facebook disputes - I have
not attacked Rob and I think that Rob would tell you that I was radio silent
when the Facebook discussions about the mission was occuring. I hugged Rob that
day and told him that I believed emotions got the best of BOTH of us and we
parted ways.
I do not believe that my actions have in any way
supported the decision of this Board to exclude me from membership.
Please forward your by-laws and constitution to my
attention so I may understand what rule I have violated.
My sons and daughters fight a war everyday in their
service to this country - and yes, every one of them is a son or daughter to me.
I want to continue to stand proud and with respect and reverence holding a flag
with some many other Americans that are there to protect these families. I am
hopeful that this request will not totally exclude me from the group
I await your response and the receipt of the documents
requested.
Sincerely
Deb
The only issue I am going to address here is your
exclusion from the statewides. Since I am in charge of the email program and it
was I that stated that you removed yourself then I should be the the one to
provide you with the proof that you removed yourself.
I ran your last name in the program and only came up
with one email address for you in the system which is: pyz87@comcast.net The
following is the results that says you opted out on Feb 4, 2012 at 11:15 AM CDT
I also just ran the email you are using for this email. There were no results
shown for militarymom1089@comcast.net so this email address has never been in
the system. This program preserves every email address that has been entered and
if an individual removes themself we can not reactivate it! So even if you enter
a new email address I could remove it but I can not block it from being
re-entered. Below is the results showing your status in the email system.
If you would like a copy of our by-laws, please send
me a request in writing and a stamped, self addressed manila envelope and I will
be glad to send you a copy.
This was copied and pasted from the program itself.
