Matthew had been a Marine for 4 years and was on his 3^rd tour. He has become the 8^th graduate of Buchanan High School to be KIA in the last 6 years and the 17^th member of the 3/5 to die in the last 2 months. He leaves 1 wife and 1 son, 2 years old.
