Adam-12 was a TV show that ran from 1968 until 1975. It featured Martin Milner as seven-year LAPD veteran uniform patrol Officer Peter Joseph "Pete" Malloy. He taught a generation what a good cop is. Marty was born 30 years before Joe. He died the same week.
