Nikolaus E. “Nik” Hoffmann; 21 years old of Antioch, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 27, 2014. He was born September 9, 1993 in Park Ridge, IL the son of Kathryn McIntyre and Roland Hoffmann, living in Mundelein and Libertyville, IL before settling in Antioch. Nik served in the Army National Guard, was a member of the ARC, and enjoyed: traveling, scuba diving, cooking, playing guitar and keyboard, was active in sports, and loved animals. Nik is remembered for always being there for the underdog, standing up for what is right, and being a loving son and big brother.
