Captain Clark was serving in Afghanistan when he died.

Captain Clark had regular Skype video chats with his wife.

Those two things happened to Captain Clark at the same time.

At this point we don’t know much about the circumstances except for a media report that, "At the time of the incident, the family was hoping for a rescue and miracle, but later learned that it was not to be."

And, for most Americans who cannot imagine how our warriors can face death without blinking, this: "Although the circumstances were unimaginable, Bruce's wife and extended family will be forever thankful that he and his wife were together in his last moments."
